Design with a Purpose

Hey everyone! I'm Kari Yates and i'm a Graphic Designer, Web Designer and Worship Leader from a little town in Southern Illinois (Jerseyville, IL). I am a wife, mother of 2 and have a slight obsession with watching baking shows and listen to worship music nonstop. Because I love anything remotely creative, you'll usually find me either creating or thinking about what I can create next. I started my love for art and design as a younger kid by drawing and painting on my parents walls(I even painting the inside of my grandparents stove with modeling paint once).  So, It's no wonder I decided to do something with art in college. I landed on Graphic Design because I get to be creative and make a living at it at the same time. My passion when I decided to do some freelance work and open Sketch 8 is to help small businesses and churches create visually appealing pieces to help people grow their brand of whatever they are doing.
